Why was my Meta Verified denied?
Most Meta Verified rejections come down to one thing: your profile name not matching your government ID. Other common causes are poor ID photo quality, a missing or non-face profile photo, 2FA not enabled, or an account that is too new. Nearly all of these are fixable. Identify the specific cause, correct it, and reapply, you usually do not have to wait long.
The real reasons, and how to fix each
Profile name does not match your ID
The number-one cause. Your Instagram profile name must match the legal name on your government ID. Fix the profile name (or use the right ID) before reapplying.
ID photo quality
Blurry, glare, cropped edges, expired, or wrong document type. Submit a clear, well-lit, unedited photo of an accepted, current ID, often front and back.
Profile photo issues
Meta wants a photo of your face. Logos, avatars, or no photo cause rejections.
2FA not enabled
Two-factor authentication must be on before you apply. Enable it and reapply.
Account too new or inactive
Brand-new accounts with little posting history get rejected. Build genuine activity first.
Recent policy violations
A recent serious violation blocks approval. Time and clean standing help.
Reapplying after a rejection
Fix the specific issue before you try again; reapplying without changing anything just gets denied again. Essentras diagnoses exactly what failed, optimizes your profile and ID submission, and prepares a corrected reapplication. If your case is simple, we will tell you to just fix it and reapply yourself.
