Can a negative article be removed from Google?+
Sometimes the article itself can be removed or de-indexed (personal data exposure, copyright, defamation, or GDPR erasure). When the article is truthful, lawful reporting, Google will not remove it, but it can often be pushed down page one with stronger content. We tell you which applies before you pay.
What is the difference between removing and de-indexing an article?+
Removal takes the page down at the source, the publisher deletes or unpublishes it. De-indexing leaves the page online but removes it from Google's search results, so it stops showing up when people search your name. We pursue whichever is available, and both if we can.
