Will Reddit remove a post just because it is negative or untrue?▾

Non-consensual intimate media is banned under Reddit's rules, and under the US TAKE IT DOWN Act covered platforms must remove reported non-consensual intimate imagery quickly. We handle the request and help clear copies. This is treated as urgent.
If a post is removed, will it still show up in Google?▾
It can, until the search result is cleared. Once the content is off Reddit we use Google's outdated-content tool to drop the dead URL, and Google's personal-information removal route where it applies. Removal from Reddit and removal from Google search are two separate jobs, and we handle both.
Can a removed post come back?▾
Rarely, but it is possible, and copies on archive or mirror sites can outlive the original. That is why we monitor and work the cached and archived copies too, not just the live post.
