Switching Providers: 27 Migration Guides
You have decided to leave. These answer the only question left: how hard is it, and what breaks.
Nothing published disappears when you change provider, because the publisher owns the URL and not the agency that placed it. The binding constraint is your contract notice period, not a migration, which is why each guide runs the first replacement in parallel with the incumbent. Contract terms below are taken from each vendor's own published terms, checked 4 October 2026.

The numbers behind this page
Every comparison on this site rests on two things we recompute rather than claim: the live catalog of what we actually sell, and a running study of what answer engines actually say. Both are linked below so you can check them.
FAQ
Switching providers, FAQ
Do I lose published coverage if I change provider?▾
No. A published article lives on the publisher's domain. The company that arranged the placement cannot remove it, and taking it down would be the publisher's editorial decision rather than a vendor setting. Everything with a live URL survives the move.
What is the hardest part of switching?▾
The contract, not the migration. There is no data to port and no integration to rebuild in this category, so the binding constraint is your notice period. That is why every guide here recommends running the first replacement in parallel rather than waiting for the old contract to end.
Should I switch in the middle of a campaign?▾
No. Time the move to a renewal date and keep the incumbent live until the first replacement placement is confirmed. Switching costs very little; a gap in coverage during a raise or a launch costs a great deal.
