Contributor program
Benzinga's contributor program lets outside writers submit articles on markets, economics, crypto and personal finance; a Benzinga editor reviews every submission before it publishes.
- How you get in
- Create an account and submit through Benzinga's contributor portal (contributor.benzinga.com, per its About page). Writing quality comes first, and Benzinga looks for people who specialize in an asset class or sector.
- Cost
- No fee stated on the pages we could read. They do not describe payment either way.
- Rules
- Disclose conflicts, such as holdings, insider status and working or family relationships, at the bottom of the article; if Benzinga suspects an undisclosed conflict it withholds the piece. Opinions need factual support, and first person is discouraged. No articles aimed at businesses, recruiters or marketers.
- Time
- An article not published within 5 business days has generally been rejected. To ask why, email the editors with the full title and submission date. Benzinga does not guarantee any submission.
