Why was my Meta Verified denied?
Meta does not rank the reasons it denies Meta Verified, but its help pages list them: a profile name that does not match your government ID, an ID photo that is blurred, cropped, glared or expired, Advanced Protection turned off, too many recent profile changes, or activity below Meta's minimum. Most are fixable. If you did not finish within 3 days, or Meta could not verify your identity, you are refunded and can subscribe again.
The real reasons, and how to fix each
Profile name does not match your ID
A common cause. Your profile name must match the legal name on your government ID; initials, abbreviations, spelling variants and compound names are accepted. Fix the profile name (or use a matching ID) before reapplying.
ID photo quality
Meta needs a valid, unexpired ID shot head-on in good light, flat on a contrasting surface, with all 4 corners visible, no flash glare and nothing else in the frame.
Profile picture or name below Meta's standards
Meta requires a profile picture and name that meet its naming standards. Symbols, numbers, unusual capitalization and titles in the name fail.
Advanced Protection not on
Meta Verified requires Advanced Protection, Instagram's mandatory two-factor login, on every profile you verify. Turn it on, then reapply.
Activity below Meta's minimum
Meta requires a minimum level of activity but publishes no number. Build genuine activity first.
Terms or Community Standards problems
The account must follow Instagram's Terms and Community Standards. Resolve any violation before reapplying.
Reapplying after a rejection
Fix the specific issue before you try again; reapplying without changing anything just gets denied again. Essentras diagnoses exactly what failed, optimizes your profile and ID submission, and prepares a corrected reapplication. If your case is simple, we will tell you to just fix it and reapply yourself.
